THIS IS WHERE I DIE...

I’ve spent 20 years photographing “death locations” in and around Los Angeles - from the gates of Cielo Drive to the charred remnants of Paramount Ranch in the mountains above Malibu. Dead in Hollywood: This Is Where I Die (Issue #20) will delve deep in the photo archives for never before seen photos of the actual locations where some of the most iconic Hollywood stars died! It’s the next best thing to being there in person! I’ll be sharing these photos on this site over the next month. Want to see a fanzine come alive before your very eyes?!?! Stay in and stay tuned! And stay safe!

BEHIND THE SIGN (EPISODE ONE) - OUT NOW!!!

BEHIND THE SIGN - EPISODE 1. THE HOLLYWOOD SIGN GIRL.

Watch it while you can. I hope it doesn't get taken down. Working on this has helped take my mind off of quarantines and things like that. So, pop on your headphones, climb into bed and follow me behind the sign... tune in and stay in.

Las Vegas Pimps Need Hearts Too

"It's painful for me to know that I received the heart of a tragedy." Jon-Erik Hexum's heart was transplanted into the chest of Michael Washington – a Vietnam war hero who also owned the infamous escort service Swinging Suzy's in Las Vegas. Washington was twice awarded the prestigious Purple Heart for services to his country and became obsessed with the television star towards the end of his own life. Hexum's mother and brother never granted Washington's request to meet, saying that it would be "too painful." Aside from Washington, one of Hexum's kidneys saved the life of a five-year-old boy while his skin was grafted onto a three-year-old child who had suffered horrific burns. Both of the 26-year-old's eyes were donated – one went to a 66-year-old man while the other was given to a young girl. DEAD IN HOLLYWOOD: BEHIND THE SIGN ISSUE #20
